1. Describe the best job data sources you should utilize to conduct a job analysis in order to update the job description. Provide your rationale for the decision. See SHRM slides (slide 14) for job data sources and the strengths and weaknesses of each source. Depending on the job description used, various answers will be appropriate.
2. Describe the best data collection method(s) you would use to conduct the job analysis in order to update the job description. Provide your rationale for the decision and try to include details regarding the types of information/questions you would be seeking information on with your methods of choice. See SHRM slides (starting on slide 19) for data collecting methods and the strengths and weaknesses of each method.
