Assessment Description Part A: In-Class Draft Research Plan (worth 10 marks) In Week 2 and 3 there will be breakout rooms, chats, forums, lecturer and ASC support to form your online community. As part of the in-class activities you will develop a draft research plan which helps to understand how the theory of team development can be applied to an online community. Each student will individually submit a copy of their plan via Moodle and their individual plan via Turnitin. Part B: Individual Written Analysis (800 words worth 20 marks) In Week 2 and 3 you participated in a variety of online community and in-class activities. Your analysis is to apply a theory of team development to your own experience of working in the online community. Assessment Instructions Include the following: Introduction (100 words) Explanation of the theory (250 words) Discussion of your experience and apply the theory to support your analysis. You can explore ideas about the different challenges of forming teams online compared to face to face (350 words) Conclusion (100 words) Please refer to the marking criteria to assist as a guideline to help you complete the tasks.
