Tutorial $10-2$:

Sorting and updating the SalesStaff table

In this tutorial, you will learn more about the capabilities of the DataGridView control's ability to add, delete, and modify data.

Step $1$: Open the SalesStaff $1$ project you created in Tutorial $10-1.$

Step $2$: Run the application.

The Full$\_$Time column holds True and False values$-$such columns are designed as type bit in the SQL Server database. The DataGridView control always displays bit values in a CheckBox control.

Step $3$: Currently, the rows are listed in ascending order by ID number. Click the Last$\_$ Name column heading and watch the grid sort the rows in ascending order by last name $($see Figure $10-16).$

Step $4$: Click the Last$\_$Name column again and watch the rows sort in reverse on the same column.
