1. Tweet Sheet - Choose 2-3 characters from the book. List descriptions and character traits of each of them. Create  Twitter handle based on the characters' traits with the descriptions. Then create 3-5 Twitter posts that would be appropriate coming from your characters.
2. Theme Collage - Discuss the major theme(s) in your book then create a collage of text and images to reinforce their theme's message about life.
3. Literary Postcard -On the front of the postcard, illustrate the book's events. On the back of your postcard, choose one of the following:
   •    Write it like a postcard from one character to another reflecting on the event illustrated.
   •    Write a diary entry from the point of view of one character reflecting on the event illustrated.
   •    Write an interior monologue of one character's thoughts reflecting on the event illustrated.
4. Personal Crest -Similar to a coat of arms, create a crest for a character in a novel. Select symbols and colors representing the character to decorate their crests and write a short paragraph explaining your choices.
5. Word Art - Select your favorite character from the novel and brainstorm words to describe and associate with that character. Think deeper and choose a symbol that is representative of the character's traits. Once your group has selected an appropriate symbol, you will use the words they brainstormed to create the image.
