Under these standards, all employees will be professional in their contact with supervisors, subordinates, co$-$workers, and members of the public. "Professional" for the purposes of this provision means being polite, respectful, and considerate. The requirement to be professional must be adhered to so long as it does not compromise employee safety or impede the performance of official duties.
