1) A burglar alarm system automatically generates and dials the telephone number of (0-1-6-6-4-8-9-5) on detecting a burglar signal from a sensor. The control circuit of the system (See the block diagram below) which generates these numbers consists of 3-bit synchronous counter, triggered by the burglar signal, and a logic circuit with gates. Logic circuit sequentially receives the outputs of the counter. The outputs of the logic circuit will be the sequential digits of the telephone number generated as a 4-bit BCD number.
