Unit 2 Assignment: Focus Paper Research

In Units 3 and 5, you will have a focus paper due. A focus paper is a research paper focusing on a particular unit aspect. For each focus paper assignment, you are to visit a library, such as the Purdue Global Library available on the University site, to research the professional and academic literature on your topic and write a report of your findings. This report should be 3-5 double-spaced pages and include at least two refereed or peer-reviewed references other than those you have covered in the course. All references and citations should follow APA format and citation style.

Due in Unit 2:As a preliminary part of your focus paper due in Unit 3, you will conduct research into the professional and academic literature on your topic of choice regarding the question: What recruitment/staffing/talent management/HR issues should an organization consider before implementing a strategic recruitment process?
