Task: The play therapist has an important role of facilitating the play therapy relationship in a non-directive, supportive way. This often involves the utilization of many of the skills that you read about in your assigned readings.

1. In what ways do you feel facilitative responses are necessary, if at all, to the play therapy relationship?
2. In what ways can therapeutic limit setting be helpful and/or problematic in the play therapy relationship?
3. Based on the Wicks et.al article, what cultural implications must be considered when working with minority populations?
