Uno Security's upcoming project is with their prestigious client, DoonValley Residency. DoonValley residency is providing affordable and luxurious residential apartments. Residency is situated in the foothills of Asics mountain ranges, overlooking the famed Doon Valley. A gated community offers homeowners a great getaway from the hustle and bustle of crowded cities in the plains, blending seamlessly with the area's unique ecology. Residency offers a choice of apartment ranging from studio apartments to lavish 4 BHK apartments. Residents can enjoy complete privacy here in a self-contained community embodying a classy lifestyle. DoonValley Residency is a gated community, complete with all conveniences, including a park/landscape area, adequate security, water & power arrangements. The buildings and facilities management were dependent on the property managers. The services include, among other things, leasing and rent collection, advertising, and marketing, building maintenance and upkeep of grounds, efficient delivery of utilities and other tasks involved in the day-to-day operations of the facilities. One of the essential services that a property manager provides is ensuring the safety and security of the general facility, including common areas and tenant spaces. Therefore, access control and property management go hand in hand in helping to provide security that is crucial in doing a job as a property manager. In the initial meeting with Doon Valley Residency, President Alen, the Business Analyst at UnoSecurity, John, understands the organization's requirement. Alen shared the results of a feedback survey conducted. For the survey, residing families were asked to share their experience using the facilities and common areas in the Residency. Few of the feedback are mentioned here. Hitesh, a resident at Doon Valley Residency, shared the problem he faced last summer when he had planned a party in the community center of the Residency. The party was delayed by an hour, and all the guests had to wait outside the hall. The property manager who had the keys was stuck in resolving some other issue. "If I had access to the hall in time, I could have avoided this situation," said Hitesh. There is a gym in the Residency too. The gym can handle 20 guests at a time. As more than 200 families are residing in the Residency, the person who wants to access the gym needs to book a slot in advance. Anita, a resident at Doon Valley Residency, said, "I have quite a busy schedule and cannot come in advance from the 14th floor to book a slot every day. If I could book the slots online, perhaps I would be able to adapt my healthy lifestyle to what I dreamt of when I purchased an apartment in the DoonValley Residency." Alen wants to resolve the problems faced by the residents as customer satisfaction is the core objective of DoonValley Residency. Moreover, the property manager who manages the booking and security of the facilities finds it challenging to handle all the services manually as the business is growing and more towers of apartments are being added to the Residency every year. Alen is expecting that along with the security system, UnoSecurity could also provide a system that help them manage access to these amenities. After analysis, John outlined the business requirements. The BRD suggests that a new system is required to control both managerial and tenant access to various doors in the building. The system is not for controlling the Tenant or Homeowner suite door. The system should integrate the tenant's mobile app and the building management web console. The system will provide the building management (property manager) to control access permission to the system, and tenants/homeowners will need to request access to various amenities. When access is granted to the tenant through the management console, tenants can access the amenities. Alen approves the initial outline of the project. He approved the budget for the project after discussing it with the financial manager at DoonValley Residency The budget approved for the project is approximately $80,000. It can be negotiated after receiving the estimated funding from the Uno Security team, but the expectation is that project will be delivered within or in less amount. The launch of the new apartment tower is planned for Jan 2022. They are expecting the mobile app and website is available by that time.
