Ur goal is to create engaging blogs and develop a community around them. Ur blogs must reflect ur passion and deliver value to ur target customers. U must perceive your blog to be a "product" that you are marketing/promoting to buyers (in this case, readers/subscribers) to attract and attain them (that is, getting them to read your blog. This would require you to adopt effective marketing/promoting strategies to get the word out as well as produce a high quality blog that delivers value to the targeted customers. You must adopt the lean startup principles to iteratively develop your blog. You will be evaluated based on the quality of your blogs, the approaches you adopted to engage with readers/subscribers to promote your blog, application of lean startup principles, and the written report (see rubric below). Writ a blog using a platform of ur choice (e.g., WIX, Tumblr) on a topic that you are passionate about (e.g., technology, environmental issues, pets, travel, sports etc.). U writ a blog at frequent intervals (minimum five hundred words), date each blog posts and generate interest in ur blog (visitors/subscribers). Note: In other words, you must view the blog as a product/service that you are creating and apply the lean startup philosophy to iteratively develop your blog. Submit a four-page report (excluding coversheet, appendix, and references) documenting your blogging experiences over the course of the semester. You must also clearly describe the topic you selected and the motivation for selecting that topic, identify the audience your blog targeted (including their characteristics), strategies that you adopted to grow your subscribers, and best practices recommendations. You must provide clear evidence (proof) of the strategies you adopted to promote your blog and readers/subscribers engagement with your blog in the appendix (e.g., screen shots of social media campaign, post on various message boards etc.).
