Don't forget to use a comma if the if clause is placed before the main clause.

$3.$ The earth becomes hotter. People die.

$4.$ People develop low$-$self$-$esteem. People spend too much time on social media.

$5.$ Misinformation is spread on the Internet. Democracy is threatened.
