Upon arrival, I spoke with Witnesses AAAAA and Bartender and took their above statements. Upon arrival, 1 saw that some bottles had been broken on the bar and that a fire had partially burned the bar. I located a partially burnt pack of matched on the bar, took them as evidence and submitted them for fingerprinting. I reviewed the security video for the bar and could easily see and recognize Def. XXX enter the bar at 2119 hours on 1/1/2024, grab a beer bottle and strike Victim OU812 in the head, then jump over the bar, smash 2 bottles of liquor on the bar and set it alight with a pack of matches that he left where I had originally located them (see crime scene photo's).
