1. Compare sampling the distribution under the following two settings:

Setting A

• Parent distribution = Right Skew
• Skew = High skew
• Sample size 10
• Number of samples 1000

Setting B

• Parent distribution = Right Skew
• Skew = High skew
• Sample size 500
• Number of samples 1000

Do the two sampling distributions look similar or different? How are they similar? How are they different?

Make sure you are viewing the sampling distribution (select the Sampling Distribution tab) and not the population distribution shown by default.

2. Compare the shape of sampling distribution under the setting A and setting C below:

Setting C

• Parent distribution = Uniform
• (Use default lower bound of 5 and upper bound of 15)
• Sample size 10
• Number of samples 1000
