Another resident, Leo "Lefty" Garcia, who has no criminal record but is often seen with Smokey, is also under watch by the department. However, without concrete evidence linking them to the crimes, the investigation remains at a standstill.

Incident: Three nights ago, a high-end electronics store on Southside Avenue was burglarized, resulting in over $10,000 worth of equipment being stolen. Surveillance footage shows a man in dark clothing breaking into the store around midnight and leaving with several items. Although the footage is grainy, police believe the suspect's build resembles that of Smokey. However, the footage is not clear enough to serve as definitive evidence.
