Use the following information to create a LINEAR style flow chart for the Current Process.

Chart begins: A box full of approximately 200 envelopes containing pizza order forms and cash or cheque payment is received. Currently four workers begin processing the envelopes. The envelopes are opened and the order form and payment are removed. Some of the workers check the math on the order form and compare it to the total payment received. If the payment does not match the total on the order form, the order form and the payment are placed in pile A. If the payment is for multiple orders forms, the form and payment are placed in pile B. Next the worker reads the division number on the form, and places the form and payment in a pile by division number. This process is repeated until all the envelopes are opened. One worker moves to the computer. A second worker now takes one of the division piles and re- checks the math (because not all the workers originally checked the math). If the payment is incorrect, the form and payment are placed on pile A. The division forms are now separated from the payments and given to the computer operator who begins entering the order information onto a spreadsheet. This loop is repeated until all the division forms are entered. Then the multiple order form pile (B) is separated from the payment and entered into the spreadsheet. Once all the forms are entered, the order amounts are added up to get the total amount sold. The cash and cheques are counted and compared to the total sold. If there is a discrepancy between total sold and cash and cheques on hand, order forms are compared against the spreadsheet and errors are corrected.

Include a tally (count) of each process type (operation, inspection, etc.) for each process.

The memo should compare and contrast the current and proposed process based on the analysis of the flowcharts (highlight inefficiencies and changes to improve the process).
