The story contains a "frame" $--$ an opening and closing in which the narrator addresses the reader directly.

The narrator's voice is strong and expressive.

The narrator's presentation or understanding of events is clearly, consistently, and meaningfully unreliable.

The story contains at least one minor character whose presence is meaningful to the conflict, moves the plot, and is revealing of the narrator's subjectivity.

The narrator is describing an identifiable situation or event that happened in the recent past and that builds through a clear narrative arc $($beginning$,$ middle, and end$).$

The narrator establishes their version of the events through deliberate presentation of context and setting.

The final subjective narration is $4-9$ pages long.

Assignment is edited to correct errors in spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
