Getting feedback is a normal and helpful part of improving research. To make the most of it, I'll focus on seeing feedback as a way to grow, not as criticism of my skills. For example, if my committee suggests using a more recent theorist or better sources, I'll research newer, credible articles to strengthen my work (Purdue OWL, n.d.). This ensures my study stays current and relevant.

Respectful communication is key. When receiving feedback, I'll listen carefully, thank the person for their input, and think about how I can apply it. For example, if I'm told to better connect my problem statement and research question, I might review my goals and refine my argument, so everything aligns more clearly. Doing this shows that I value feedback and want to improve my work (Williams, 2019).

To stay organized, I'll keep a record of the feedback I get and the changes I make. This helps me track my progress and ensures I don't miss any suggestions.
