In addition, they want the system to be easily accessible to other hospital departments (administrative and clinical). Eventually, the systems should be interoperable with the pharmacy and laboratory systems (which went live 2 years ago) and with the electronic medical records system that they plan to select and implement within the next 5 years. There will be two project managers on your team. The first person is a systems analyst, while the second person is very familiar with facility management.
