It was founded by Violetta Piezzo as a small bakery in 2005 at Carpenter Street, one of the oldest streets in Kuching. The bakery was taken over by her son, Joel Piezzo in 2009 and began to expand rapidly in the past five years. In June 2020, the company opened its 4th store in Saradise, Kuching.

The companys best-selling product in 2020 is Beef Pepperoni Pizza, which is a classical crowd pleasure for all ages. The company is also well-known for their freshly baked breads and exquisite calzones, pies and cookies. However, the company has struggled in recent years, and faces stiff competition from retail bakeries and in-store supermarket bakeries. The COVID pandemic also has caused disruption in Pizza Manias business. Less people are will to leave their homes and stay at home more often.
