Using the two NY Times articles on drought from our syllabus $($week $1)$ and Blackboard $($see NYTimes article on the Amazon under Content$),$ write a short response paper reflecting on the links between global warming as discussed in the $6$ Tipping points video in the PBS Terra series and drought in the two areas mentioned in the articles.

You are not required to use other sources but you may.

In your response, reflect on causes, effects, meaningful correlations, and complicating variables. Discuss the fact that water levels have subsequently risen at Lake Mead, for example. What do you make of that?

Also, create a graph of water levels at Lake Mead over the last five to $10$ years or however many years you deem relevant but be sure to include January $2024$ in the graph.

The response should be between $1\mathrm{.}5-2$ pages in length.
