Using Unix:

1. From the ember lab server, perform a traceroute to a domain name of your choosing. (show command and output)

2. Perform a trace to the same domain name using a personal computer at your home or dorm. On windows, open up cmd, then use the command tracert. Mac is same as linux. Is there any difference in hops, if so which ones? If they are different, why do you think that is? (show command, output and answer)

3. Perform a nslookup on this domain name.(show command and output)

4. Perform a nslookup on the IP address that is referred to by the previous question. Are there any different domain names listed? (show command and output)

5. Perform a ping test for a count of 10 from either the ember lab server or your personal computer to a domain name of your choosing (it must be located on the web, ie publix.com, google.com, twitch.com, etc). Perform the same ping test from the same machine (or network) at three different times of the day. Once in the morning, once in the afternoon, and once in the evening/night. Record your results indicating the time you ran the test and output. Did your round trip times increase at any specific point in the day? Why do you think that is? (show your commands, output and answers)
