Even if it is hand drawn, it should be polished, clear, and easily distinguishable from a preliminary sketch. Lines should be straight $($use a straight edge$),$ labels should be easy to read. Use color where appropriate. This should be a fully finished product

Tips: Don't just show one kind of data here $($e$.$g$.$ graduated from kindergarten, elementary school, middle school, high school$).$ That could just be a list; a visualization should have multiple categories of data. Your final visualization should be different and better than your sketches.
