was given a task to do a simple home experiment on heat transfer, preferably conduction/convection and write a 2 page report on it. I was thinking of placing different material spoons (metal,plastic,wood) in a hot water with butter on top of each spoon to show that metal is has a higher thermal conductivity. However, i feel like i have nothing much to conclude on, are there any other home based experiments that i can do with more calculations and better show my understanding on heat transfer? please help! thank you
