Globalization is economic, social, and cultural connectivity with people in other parts of the world due to better information technology and transportation systems which have effects of globalization on organizations, expands markets, lowers costs, and increases knowledge. Globalization affects teamwork, diversity, cultural values, and leadership and it increases competitive pressures and work intensification. Personal values influence how corporate boards and CEOs allocate organizational resources. We define values as stable, evaluative beliefs that guide preferences for outcomes or courses of action in various situations. We define ethics as moral principles or values that determine whether actions are right or wrong and whether outcomes are good or bad. Organizations are set up to make profits as their highest priority.
