We are designing a pull sled to test for an event for the baja competition. I am supposed to model the center of mass. The plan is to have a frame using rectangular metal tubing with a containment housing for different weights on top. The containment housing can be moved along the top of the frame to give varying difficulties in pulls. How would i model the center of mass calculations for the frame and weight on top at different positions. The other components seem to hard to model, the sled is also not built so dimensions for the frame are available but no exact mass values.
