We have been informed that a rival company (specifications can not be verified) is employing social engineering on our employees; adding them on Linkedin with fake profiles, sending phishing emails, etc. Some employees reported being contacted by managers from our branch in Washington and being asked about their involvement in the project "The Big Data Analytics on Changing Customer Needs for Future Predictions" that is expected to give us a better share of the market. The project was only discussed with higher level management (Does not include anyone from Washington) and its realization is not even certain at the moment.
