We studied many ways to interpret the Bible, from the four senses of scripture inGregory the Great's "Letter to Leander" (in the Moralia on Job, on Blackboard) to thefour methods of biblical criticism described by Daniel Harrington in his Interpreting theOld Testament (in FOTS). Using the allegorical and moral (tropological) senses ofscripture or literary analysis and form criticism, analyze one of these passages from theOld Testament: Isaiah 52:13-53:12, Genesis 22:1-18, Genesis 32:22-31, or Psalm 45.
