As a sequel to the scenario in Week 3, use the following one for this weeks assignment:

The product, Draft, is a motorized bicycle for use in high-density cities. Your teams assignment is to design a communications plan for existing customers and the general public. Several members of your team propose methods for communicating the information: (a) telephone calls; (b) Facebook/Twitter/Social Media; (c) retail bike shops and clubs; (d) launch party at company headquarters; and (e) television commercials. Preparation Tasks After reviewing the weekly resources related to the assignment topic, visit LIRN (or another database) and find and annotate 2-3 articles. Remember to save your sources since you will have to cite them in your paper. Once you have your articles and/or visuals, make an outline of your paper using this outline template. This will come in handy when you start writing your paper. WEEK 4: EXTERNAL COMMUNICATION METHODS Step 1: Review your weekly resources that cover the topic of communicating information to the public. Be sure to take notes and make a list of communication methods explained in these resources. Step 2: Working off of your notes, write down the advantages and disadvantages of each method mentioned in the scenario. Step 3. It is time to transform your notes and thoughts into an outline for your paper. In your outline, incorporate your notes and thoughts. This is where you might want to use the outline template. Step 4. In your paper, you should address the advantages and disadvantages of each method and conclude with a recommendation for how you will communicate the information to the public. Your communication recommendation may be one of the proposed methods or one of your choosing.
