One of the most common kinds of behaviour that can bring a company into disrepute is sexual conduct. There have been a number of cases in the sports world. For example, a recent case involved a professional footballer who made headlines after being caught having an affair. He was deemed to have brought his club into disrepute as this occurred while abroad representing the club on a foreign tour.

However, around the same time, another player at the club had an affair reported but he was not found to be bringing the club into disrepute, for although his affair was reported in the media, it did not happen while representing the club.
