Justice Alito was correct, this was not an issue the Supreme Court should have had any say in, this was a state matter. The Biblical basis for our constitution and the founders intensions behind it, is close to being completely lost. This has caused a chain reaction in which rights are being created based on what societal pressure dictates rather than what God, the ultimate lawgiver, states in the scriptures. The scriptures this week in our assigned reading have shown how God feels about marriage and the parties that should be involved, that is, one man and one woman. Therefore, from a biblical worldview standpoint, no, tenancy by the entirety should not be extended to same sex couples. The sacredness of marriage is among the lost things in our world today but to Christians, it is to be treasured and protected.
