what can i comment or add to this post $-$ "Active two$-$way communication involves a sender giving a message and a receiver responding to that message. It requires both parties to engage in the conversation actively. This includes both oral and written communication and is a great way to increase workplace productivity. Having effective communication skills is one of the most important traits that a job poster may be looking for.

An example of ineffective two$-$way communication would be:

Customer: I$\text{'}$m just here looking for ice$-$cream

CSR: Great! It's in the back right corner of the store.

Customer: $($a few minutes later$)$ Well I couldn't find the ice$-$cream I'll just take something else.

CSR: Oh no$,$ it's only right back there $($points directly at the ice$-$cream which is visible from the counter$)$

Customer: $($briefly looks back$)$ Well I don't see it; I'll just go somewhere else...

This left the CSR feeling frustrated for not being able to leave the counter to help the customer find what they wanted, and also frustrated the customer couldn't see what she was obviously trying to show her. And the customer is feeling badly because they felt dismissed by the CSR$,$ they can't find the product they wanted, and will likely not come back to shop at this store again. This is the exact type of negative interaction we try our best to keep from happening."
