WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS?

Artificial intelligence impacts our life, whether we realize it or not. Artificial intelligence also comes in many forms that span wider than just robotics. For example, "lane change assist", which is a feature on most new model automobiles, or self-check out, seen in some grocery stores, can be seen as configurations of artificial intelligence. Most people, however, just assume that artificial intelligence is solely robots, when, in reality, artificial intelligence can be anything that can be done in a computerized form. It doesn't seem to me that artificial intelligence is just a trend. Although there is not much documented use of artificial intelligence in history, it can be seen as the next progressive step in technology. I feel as though the use and development of artificial intelligence would continue to progress over the years, to the point where we would not be able to walk down the street without seeing some form of artificial intelligence. In an artificial intelligence infused workplace, I think that humans would be able to assimilate with artificial beings so long as the ratio is equal. If there are more forms of artificial life than human life, humans may feel threatened or as if they are being replaced. Business may also opt for more artificial life forms as opposed to human life if the use of artificial life proves cheaper and more lucrative than the alternative. The level of output and unites produced comparatively may also contribute to the decision on use of artificial intelligence in the workplace.
