Scope Management Plan/Statement

The scope management statement briefly describes the project goal of creating an automated system that is effective and efficient for the manufacturing of cosmetics. In addition, it details the reason for developing this system which includes less cost and reduced wastage of resources.

Project scope Statement

The project scope statement comprehensively describes the efficient manufacturing system for the production of cosmetics, deliverables, acceptance criteria, and project exclusion. The primary objective of manufacturing solutions for cosmetics is to have an effective system that reduces materials waste and production costs in the long run. This system includes an electronic algorithm, database, and inventory management that monitors the process from manufacturing to the final consumer. The deliverables project is to have a fully effective system of cosmetic production for all stakeholders, from the manager to workers.

Work Breakdown Structure

The WBS is used to effectively define the process and tasks necessary for the cosmetic manufacturing system. The project tasks are distributed in phases, allowing the project manager to use the project scope to complete every planned task efficiently. In this case, the WBS is subdivided into the scope baseline, document updates, assumption log, and requirements for documentation.

WBS Dictionary

The WBS dictionary describes each milestone and deliverable for every WBS element in this case. It also includes the tasks for each process and deliverables, budget, and resources for the project. The milestones are categorized into six steps which detail the project phases to realize an adequate, timely, and less costly system for cosmetic production. The quality requirement of the product in question is also stated to describe the safety and high-quality requirement for acceptance in the market.
