What is the difference between compliance and commitment?

There is no difference, these are essentially the same concept

Compliance refers to getting your receiver to do or think what you have asked them to do because they believe they have to$,$ while commitment means getting your receiver to do or think what you want them to out of dedication

A receiver that is compliant to your message believes in what you are saying and feels a part of the cause
