You are a bar customer and you suspect that the barman is diluting the whiskey. You take a sample for analysis and determine the \% ethanol content in the sample by an internal standardisation protocol using gas chromatography (GC). The following procedure was used. Standards were prepared by adding 0.48,0.96,1.44,2.88 and 5.76 aliquots of ethanol to 100mL volumetric flasks each of which contained 4.0mL of propanol (Internal Standard). The solutions were made up to the mark with water. The Whiskey sample was prepared by adding 10.0mL of Whiskey to 4.0mL of propanol in a 100mL volumetric flask and making up to the mark with water. The GC analysis of the standards and the sample was undertaken and the results are presented in the Table
