Here are a few skills that will help you become a more effective test taker:

Make sure you begin studying well in advance of your test. Don't start the night before. You learn new concepts through repetition over time. So start well in advance of your deadline.

Know your learning style and adjust your study methods accordingly. For example, if you're a tactile learner, try to imagine how the concepts apply to your life. If you're a visual learner, create illustrations or charts that will help you better remember the concepts.

Get plenty of rest! You may be tempted to stay up late and cram, but a well rested mind will serve you better than a foggy one.

Use positive self$-$talk. Push negative messages out of your head and remind yourself how well prepared you are.
