d Classify operating systems from your perspective (may be the devices on which they reside, response time, efficiency, language in which they ate written,  tasks they perform) and provide taxonomy of types of OS with brief description of each. For each of the OS that you have mentioned provide an application in detail.

e To which extent are the two OS's (Linux/Unix and Windows) essentially the same and importantly different?    With relevant applications differentiate between windows and linux/unix OS.
