What$$s the Term Project about?

Please review the term project module which include: Mystery Shopper Report and Report Writing Guidelines. Please ensure you also review the Rubric MKTG $1112$ to understand how the paper will be graded.

The Sample Mystery Shopper Survey Form $($page $2$ of Mystery Shopper Report$)$ is provided to give you some ideas of what to measure. However, this is YOUR shopping experience, therefore create and measure things that are important to YOU. Measure each company using the same list$($s$).$

The ONE product$/$service is measured at FOUR different companies in THREE ways $($via the web, in person, and via the phone$).$ This results in TWELVE experiences. The report is based on these findings. See Format below:

Mystery Shopper Report

Purpose

To use your knowledge of Customer Relations to compare and contrast customer relations levels in the marketplace.

Overview

Think of a product$/$service that you would like to purchase, even if you have no intention of obtaining it right now. In succession; via the web, by telephone, and making visits to at least four $(4)$ stores, have a salesperson at these stores try to sell you on the product$/$service$.$

You may or may not choose to buy the product$/$service$,$ however, you still must visit at least four $(4)$ companies, each:

$1.$ Via the web

$2.$ By telephone

$3.$ In Person

That is a total of twelve experiences.

Format

Use the report format as presented in the $$Report Writing Guidelines$$ for additional recommendations. Write about the kind of relations you received including:

$-$ What was done correctly,

$-$ What are some areas needing improvement, and

$-$ Relate your knowledge of Customer Relations principles from the course and your own personal experience

Ensure you state:

$-$ What the product or service is you are researching, and

$-$ Which company would$/$did you purchase the product$/$service

You may chose to include advertising copy that relates to the exercise, particularly if there is a discrepancy between it and what you are presented with face$-$to$-$face $($F$2$F$).$
