When encountering difficulty coming to a consensus on shared goals how I would approach this situation within my practicum organization is to first hear everyone's thoughts and opinions. Giving the chance for each person to share their goals and or concerns will allow me to have a better understanding of where the group is being divided. A public health leader should have the vision to set goals and develop processes that entrench commitment to effectiveness and equity in the system to achieve better outcomes in health and development (Reddy,2017). I would also cover what the main goal is again for everyone to ensure we are staying on the same page and that everyone has a clear understanding of why this meeting is being held and what we want to accomplish from it. Once a clear image is formed of the desired goal, I will again go over everyone's opinions and thoughts and group them based on what they are about the goal if they aren't getting the person to understand the task to become clear on the goal being discussed
