Question:
When I think of servant leadership, I think the classic example for me is what a teacher does every day. (I'm talking elementary and secondary, in this context.) No teacher I know is in it for themselves. They are teaching because they want others to benefit since we know they don't get paid enough to benefit themselves (at least these days). I don't think I've ever heard of anyone saying they got into teaching because of the money!
Is there a downside to servant leadership? Could it be used in a negative way?
Could it be used against the leader or even a follower at some point? Thoughts?
