When it comes to change, it's such a difficult time as a leader as you simultaneously manage the change and your teams' emotions. The biggest challenge we face as leaders is conveying the positive impacts of change and how the impact will affect the team. Of course, the team wants the organization to do well, but ultimately, they will be first concerned with how the change will impact them as an individual. As leaders, we need to be able to convey how the individual team members will be affected and how we can get them to understand the why behind the change. This has been an area that I have struggled with myself over the years when leading entry-level team members where some of the reasons for a change may need to be clarified.
