When it comes to the construction industry there is so much waste, both in terms of materials and energy, that needs attention. So, let's take one component of the construction industry and analyze it from a sustainability perspective. The area of consideration is the production of concrete. What are all the constituents required to produce concrete? Please provide a comprehensive list from the material components list along with the energy consuming elements. From that list, what items could be changed to reduce the carbon footprint when making concrete and explain the relative change those elements can make on the carbon footprint. Only consider what you would define as the top three elements that should consider, not every item on your list.
