When Tesla created the automatic driving car, it was reported that 31% of the cars malfunctioned due to a software glitch. As a result, the U.S. government conducted a quality inspection of the Tesla production facility. A random sample of 125 cars was taken and the sample revealed that 48 of the cars were in fact defective. Use this sample information to test whether the proportion of defective car is different than the 31% previously reported. Use the critical value approach and let = 0.05.
