While many referential/application-based websites (such as Boardsource.org and Boardable.com) would breakdown the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit boards into eight or ten basic and 3-4 legal functions, in light of the Governance as Leadership model with 3 'modes' (Fiduciary, Strategic, and Generative), discuss how you would practically set-up a medium-sized board (for say, a state-wide relief effort following a natural disaster), their roles and responsibilities, and a brief description of each (individual) board member's function (so 2 parts: 1 - overall nonprofit board roles, and 2 - individual board member function(s)).
