Whose responsibility is it to lower the amount of fast fashion and its negative impacts? What role do companies, consumers and governments play in this? dignosntic paragraph. can you writer a sample paragraph.

Fast fashion should be avoided because it contributes significantly to greenhouse gas emissions and water pollution. Firstly, the fashion industry is one of the major emitters of greenhouse gases. Martinez (2019, p. 35) explains that the manufacturing of clothes includes a series of steps which require high usage of fossil-fuel generated energy and these emit high levels of greenhouse gases. In fact, the emissions produced through the production and distribution processes of clothes represent 10% of the worlds emissions, which is greater than the combined emissions from the aviation and maritime industries (Quantis International 2018, cited in Martinez 2019, p. 35). Secondly, consumers should stop buying fast fashion as its production considerably pollutes limited water resources. The industry, being the second largest consumer of water in the world, uses 93 billion cubic meters of water annually to make clothes (Martinez 2019, p. 35). Much of the leftover water contains dye and small non-biodegradable pieces of plastic from the poor-quality fabrics used, and this is then discarded in waterways, polluting oceans (ibid.).
