Why is pinpointing a time for smart goals important? In thinking about your reading and also your overall impressions of the treatment planning video, what worked well and what were areas that could nave upon?
er watching the video, I think the treatment planning went well. One thing that I noticed that I feel was accurate was how the case manager used measurable objective client. He listened well to what she felt would be good objectives that could help her reach her goal to reduce her mild depression. As they set measurable objectives Iking, time management for doing her homework, singing, and socializing with friends and visiting her aunt seemed to be realistic objectives that the client could set in d achieve. As the case manager mentioned, he would have her come back to see how the objectives that were put into plan are working for her so she could reach he fucing her mild depression. Another thing that I noticed that seemed to work well was how he explained in the beginning how the session was going to go and explaini jectives and the goal planning.
After watching the second video on developing SMART goals, do you think the goals and objectives developed in the first video the treatment planning session specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timebound? Explain your rationale.
do think that the goals and objectives are specific from the first video such as with the case manager working with the client to obtain objectives and making sure they ere measurable for her to achieve like walking once a week in stand of twice a week because of her busy schedule and visiting her aunt once a month. Using the timeb ne case manager worked with the client to schedule appropriate time that would work best for the client.
What skills did you see the case manager using or could benefit from using that you could relate to
Critical thinking such as working with the client to have realistic objectives to work towards her goal. I believe that the case manager used effective communication skills client as well.
