You are a member and officer of Delta Mu Delta, an international business honors society. The president of the organization, Taylor Jones, is very interested in expanding the philanthropic and community relations of the Tarleton chapter and especially volunteerism for its active members.

Taylor read about Tarletons expanded Service Day opportunities this semester and has asked you to write a letter to Dr. Sharon Bowers, director of Community Engagement and Service Learning, to learn more about service learning opportunities that would most benefit members of Delta Mu Delta. Taylor feels that the more closely related the service activity is to a students major, the better the experience will look on that students resume. Taylor also believes that service learning could be a great way to start networking, if students can find the right activity.

Taylor has asked you to research Service Day and ask logical questions that a member of DMD interested in participating might ask. Taylor specifically wants you to ask if student organizations are able to submit Service Day activity ideas.
