Widgets are components that extend the functionality of the application. Each widget is stand$-$alone $-$ that is$,$ the application will work with or without it$,$ but adding it might improve the application. Each team member $($if not doing the task above$)$ should choose one widget from the list below or $($with approval by email from Steve Cassidy$)$ suggest their own idea. In the list below, more $*\text{'}$s means that the task is more challenging.

Task Summary Widget $*$: shows statistics from the currently displayed tasks, how many tasks in each category, how many high priority tasks, how many due today. Updates when tasks are added, removed or changed.
