Wind Loads

Using the design wind pressures calculated in class, calculate the following design wind

forces on the Breakiron Building:

$($a$)$ Lateral force due to transverse wind on the G$-$line moment frame at the $3$rd floor

level, $F_{T,3}.$

$($b$)$ Lateral forces due to longitudinal wind load on the $1-$line moment frame between

column lines $B$ and $C$ at the $3$rd floor level, $F_{L,3}.$

Your solution must include multiple sketches which clearly show the tributary area of

the wind for each force calculated.
