With reference to the invitation below, draft a solid position paper with the point highlighted below as agreed by the executives and membership of the Film Guild, the Film Council, and other film-related bodies. Ensure to add any necessary points that should be added on in such a position or situation 1) We need a copy of the policy to read, digest, and make our position known to the consultant 2) 2days notice is not enough especially when we don't have the policy 3) 3hrs 30min to validate the whole policy document without seeing it. 4) Lack of national representation for the validation. The Northeast, NorthWest, Southern and Eastern Region were left out. 5) Postponement of the validation to another date so we can be on the same boat and sail together. I write to refer to the above subject and to invite you/your institution to a one-day validation workshop to finalise the draft National Film Policy that is scheduled to take place at the Miatta Conference Centre, Brookfield Freetown, Freetown, on Monday, 21st October, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The aim of the validation workshop is to gather your valuable insights, to foster participation and collaboration to ensure the policy effectively serves the needs of the Sierra Leone film industry. Consequent upon the above, you are therefore invited to participate and assist with meaningful contribution towards this engagement with the view to enhance the design and roll-out of the policy.
